Kalshi removes the badge indicating association with the X platform due to stricter promotion rules on the platform

PANews February 24 Report, according to The Block, prediction market platform Kalshi has removed all badges associated with its X platform accounts. This move follows last week’s update to X’s paid partnership and promotional content rules, which aim to restrict paid promotional activities related to gambling and sports betting content and strengthen disclosure regulations for such content.

Kalshi’s associated accounts previously used badges to indicate a formal partnership with the platform, typically involving revenue sharing arrangements. Multiple associated accounts confirmed that the badges have been removed, with some accounts showing “under review.” X product lead Nikita Bier warned that accounts must disclose paid promotional relationships with Kalshi, or they will be banned. He stated that X must prevent “distortion or contamination” of public discussions, and undisclosed commercial relationships will damage users’ trust in authentic speech.
