According to official sources, Ref Finance has undergone the latest upgrade and has become a Decentralized Finance hub that supports Liquidity of multi-chain assets. It uses NEAR’s chain abstraction technology to provide users (especially BTCholders) with a convenient way to access various Financial Services on a unified platform. This upgrade provides the possibility to cover the overlooked BTC market in the Decentralized Finance service, unlocking a market potential of $45 billion and demonstrating both the rapid rise of Ref Finance and its core role in the Decentralized Finance ecosystem of NEAR. It is reported that Ref Finance is a cutting-edge Decentralized Finance DApp based on the NEAR protocol. Since its establishment in 2021, it has evolved from a simple AMM to a comprehensive Decentralized Finance platform, with a total value locked (TVL) exceeding 50 million US dollars, accounting for 25% of the NEAR TVL (currently around 198 million US dollars).
