PANews 2月20日消息，Vitalik Buterin在X平台发文表示，FOCIL 机制与账户抽象提案 Ethereum 的 EIP-8141（基于 7701）之间存在重要协同效应，EIP-8141 将智能账户（包括多签、抗量子签名、密钥变更、Gas 赞助等）提升为“第一类公民”，意味着来自该账户的操作可直接作为链上交易被打包，无需额外封装。同时，隐私协议也可通过 paymaster 或 2D nonce 机制实现多租户账户模式，从而获得同等级别的原生支持。
FOCIL 则提供抗审查的快速交易纳入机制。在两者结合下，包括智能钱包交易、Gas 赞助交易及隐私协议交易在内的各类交易，都可通过每个时隙随机选出的 17 个角色（提议者或包含者）之一被纳入区块。Vitalik 表示，这种设计可在对抗性环境下保障交易几乎必然在 1–2 个时隙内完成上链。
当前版本中，每个 FOCIL 体量约为 8kB，规模较小，但未来存在扩展路径，可支持区块中大部分交易通过 FOCIL 通道进入。该架构在特性上类似多并行提议者（MCP）设计，但不同之处在于，FOCIL 不控制与 MEV 相关的“最后查看权（last look）”，该角色仍通过 ePBS 拍卖机制分配。
Vitalik 强调，即便 100% 的区块时隙通过提议者-构建者分离（PBS）机制被敌对方垄断，拒绝连接公共内存池或歧视特定应用，FOCIL 仍可确保所有交易获得快速纳入。这一设计虽未消除提议者角色的中心化风险，但显著削弱了其权力。
在 EIP-8141 框架下，来自智能钱包或隐私协议的交易可直接通过公共 mempool 被 FOCIL 包含者接收，无需额外中介或封装流程。Vitalik 总结称，以太坊正在加速推进核心架构升级。
