2月28日消息，Ripple高管Reece Merrick宣布，超过10亿迪拉姆（约合2.8亿美元）的经认证抛光钻石已在XRP Ledger完成代币化。这一“钻石上链”项目由Billiton Diamond与Ctrl Alt牵头推进，Ripple Custody负责资产托管与合规保障，确保符合阿联酋监管框架。
此次大规模“现实世界资产代币化”意味着，每一颗钻石都对应链上唯一的数字所有权记录。借助XRP账本的分布式记账机制，投资者可以实时追踪资产流转路径，缩短结算周期，提高交易效率。相比传统钻石交易依赖中介与纸质认证的模式，区块链确权为“高价值实物资产数字化”提供了更透明的基础设施。
在流动性层面，钻石代币化有助于降低进入门槛。通过链上拆分与转让机制，投资者能够更便捷地参与“钻石资产数字投资”，市场活跃度有望提升。同时，Ripple也借此拓展其技术版图，从跨境支付延伸至奢侈品资产管理与DeFi生态应用，强化XRP在实体资产映射领域的应用场景。
