2月28日消息，PayPal与MoonPay宣布联合推出PYUSDx平台，允许开发者基于PayPal USD（PYUSD）发行应用专属稳定币。该框架与M0合作开发，旨在以PYUSD作为底层储备资产，为品牌方和开发团队提供定制化稳定币发行解决方案。
根据公告，PYUSDx帮助开发者在无需自建复杂基础设施的情况下，快速推出由PYUSD支持的数字美元代币。平台整合了MoonPay的分发与注册系统，以及M0的代币化技术架构，支持跨链兼容、链上储备金报告和灵活的经济模型设计。官方表示，从测试到正式发布，开发周期可缩短至数天，大幅压缩产品上线时间。
MoonPay首席执行官Ivan Soto-Wright指出，随着稳定币市场持续扩张，开发者需要更高效、低成本的工具来管理应用层稳定币。数据显示，到2025年，供应量超过1000万美元的稳定币数量增长了89%，市场对“应用级稳定币发行平台”的需求明显上升。
在发行结构方面，基础PYUSD由Paxos Trust Company负责发行，而PYUSDx代币则由MoonPay Digital Assets Limited发行。双方强调，PYUSDx独立于PayPal原生稳定币体系，不能用于PayPal或Venmo钱包内的支付或转账，其监管责任由各发行主体根据不同国家法规承担。
USD.ai成为首个接入PYUSDx的项目，计划围绕人工智能基础设施构建专属稳定币应用场景。PayPal加密业务负责人May Zabaneh表示，开发者希望在受监管且可信的框架下创新金融产品，而无需重建底层货币系统。M0首席执行官Luca Prosperi则认为，该平台为新项目提供了流动性支持和互操作能力，有助于提升Web3支付生态效率。
自2023年推出以来，PYUSD不断扩展应用边界。2025年，用户已可获得3.7%的年化收益，随后Stellar与Arbitrum网络被纳入支持范围，优化了交易速度与成本结构。此次PYUSDx发布，被视为PayPal在稳定币基础设施和链上美元生态布局中的关键一步。
