2月27日消息，美国参议员Elizabeth Warren在参议院银行委员会听证会上，公开要求美国货币监理署暂停或驳回World Liberty Financial（WLFI）的国家信托银行牌照申请，称该公司与Donald Trump存在未解决的财务关联，可能涉及严重利益冲突。
Warren指出，WLFI正处在“前所未有的总统腐败争议核心”，并提及一笔来自阿联酋相关实体的5亿美元投资，呼吁提高透明度并全面审查潜在风险。她此前已致信Office of the Comptroller of the Currency（OCC），要求中止审批流程。
不过，OCC署长Jonathan Gould在听证会上回应称，机构将按既定程序评估申请，不会因政治争论改变审查标准。他反驳称，迄今为止感受到的唯一政治压力来自Warren本人。双方言辞激烈，凸显美国加密银行牌照审批与政治博弈交织的现实。
