不过，他同时强调，仅针对位于人口密集地区的数据中心采取行动，并不足以实质性改变 AGI 时间线。他估算，在“静态世界模型”下，实现 10 至 100 倍的算力削减是可行的；若与未来芯片设计持续进步的假设情境相比，削减幅度甚至可能达到 100 至 10000 倍，而这样的规模“将真正产生影响”。尽管路径复杂，但任何重大调整都需要“第一步”。
