PANews 2月15日消息，据CoinDesk报道，贝莱德数字资产主管Robert Mitchnick在比特币投资者周会议上表示，加密衍生品平台上泛滥的杠杆投机正加剧市场波动，并可能损害比特币作为稳定机构对冲工具的长期定位。Mitchnich指出，比特币作为“全球性、稀缺、去中心化的货币资产”的基本面依然稳固，但其短期交易行为正日益呈现出“杠杆化的纳斯达克”特征，这一认知将极大提高保守型机构投资者配置该资产的门槛。
Mitchnick同时反驳了现货ETF加剧市场波动的观点。他表示，在市场动荡的一周内，贝莱德旗下IBIT基金仅出现0.2%的赎回，若对冲基金大规模平仓本应出现数十亿美元级别的资金流出，而实际数十亿美元的清算发生在杠杆平台。
