BlockBeats 消息，3 月 5 日，据《财富》杂志报道，加密创投领域最大的参与者正在重返募资市场。Andreessen Horowitz 旗下的区块链投资部门 a16z Crypto 目前正在募集其第五只基金。多位知情人士在匿名条件下向《财富》透露了这一消息，以讨论相关机密业务运作。

其中一位消息人士表示，该机构的募资目标约为 20 亿美元，并计划在 2026 年上半年结束前完成募资。

由资深投资人、企业家 Chris Dixon 领导的 a16z crypto，于 2018 年推出了首只规模 3 亿美元的基金。此前一年，区块链热潮曾推动比特币价格飙升至 2 万美元。此后每一只基金规模都大于上一只，并在 2022 年达到巅峰，推出了一只规模高达 45 亿美元的「巨无霸」基金，该基金目前仍在持续投资。

尽管最新基金规模不到上一只的一半，但一位知情人士称，a16z crypto 计划缩短募资周期，以便更好地把握加密行业趋势快速变化带来的机会。此前几只基金均在彼此间隔一至两年内完成募资。
