Upbit, sàn tiền điện tử lớn nhất Hàn Quốc, cho biết sẽ nâng tỷ lệ tài sản người dùng lưu trữ trong ví lạnh lên 99% và giảm ví nóng xuống 0% sau vụ đánh cắp 44,5 tỷ KRW từ ví nóng.

Động thái này nhằm tăng cường bảo mật và bảo vệ tài sản khách hàng trước rủi ro tấn công mạng.

Upbit cho biết việc điều chỉnh hệ thống ví đã hoàn tất và hiện vượt xa yêu cầu tối thiểu 80% lưu trữ ví lạnh theo quy định của Hàn Quốc.

Quyết định chuyển gần như toàn bộ tài sản sang lưu trữ ngoại tuyến cho thấy Upbit đang thắt chặt an ninh, đồng thời trấn an người dùng sau sự cố bị hack vừa qua.
