We’ve killed hobbies by turning everything into “monetization.” People used to just paint, play guitar, or bake cakes because they enjoyed it. Now the first question you hear is: “Oh, cool! Do you sell this? Do you have a blog about it?” We no longer allow ourselves to just have fun. If an activity doesn’t bring money or likes, it’s seen as a waste of time. That’s sad.
