I’m still kinda shocked by how many people got erased in the last couple of months.
When I scroll my old chats, it’s like walking through an abandoned town. Most of them didn’t “rotate” or “take a break”. They just snapped. Closed positions, closed apps, went full IRL.
And I get it. The market didn’t just take money, it took attention. It took confidence. People don’t leave because they’re down 30%. They leave when the grind stops feeling worth it.
What’s weird is I remember phases where $ETH was around 1.8k and the vibe was still alive. More liquidity, more experimentation, more people actual

The weird thing about $BTC at 65k is that it’s basically the same price range as 2021, while the world around it moved 10 steps forward.
Tokenized stocks/RWAs, stablecoins everywhere, banks and funds leaning in, governments talking regulation instead of bans, corporates starting to add crypto to balance sheets.
That’s why 200k+ honestly feels more logical than 65k.
But short term price isn’t logic, it’s leverage and macro stress. Long term, fundamentals usually catch up.

I don’t really believe people who say “money is just paper” and act like losing it doesn’t matter.
There’s a high chance it’s cope. Either for the feed, or to protect themselves from the feeling.
Money isn’t the goal, but it is energy. It’s time, options, safety, freedom to make mistakes, freedom to say no. Pretending it’s irrelevant doesn’t make you evolved, it usually just makes you reckless.
The “money doesn’t matter” line almost always comes from two places:
People who don’t have it and need a story to feel okay.
Or people who have plenty and like playing the enlightened guru.

There is no retail in this market.
You can feel it. No FOMO, no fresh money, just the same timeline looping the same takes while price grinds everyone down.
And that’s not automatically bearish. Early before big runs, retail wasn’t there either. Markets were thin, moves were ugly, conviction was rare.
The trap is expecting an instant reversal. This phase can drag and still hurt.
But if retail is gone, the edge is simple: survive. Don’t burn capital out of boredom. Keep a plan. Stay liquid enough to act when the game wakes up again.

Old: Accumulate → Hold → Sell at ATH
New: Catalyst → Quick profit → Rotate
Why holding doesn't work:
- Most coins never reach old highs
- Liquidity dried up
- Narratives die in days
Trade the event, take profit, move on.
That's the only playbook that works in 2026.

I waste enough hours scrolling to notice something depressing: I'm not even "behind the trend", the trend is just dead by the time I see it. A meme lives for a day now. We used to rinse one joke for months.
Crypto feels the same.
People still talk in clean 4-year cycles like it's 2017. But everything sped up.
Info travels faster. Positioning faster. Narratives get mined and exhausted faster. Even "big" bullish moves last a weekend. Then you blink and market's chopping your legs again.

In 2021 you could be sloppy and still win.
