On December 10, Jinshi Data reported that the Office of the Prime Minister of Haiti issued a statement stating that the government has promised to deploy its full efforts to track down and arrest the perpetrators who killed more than 100 civilians in the Sun City community in the capital, Port-au-Prince, last week, and bring them to justice. On December 9 local time, the United Nations Human Rights Affairs Committee stated that armed gangs in Haiti launched attacks on the Sun City community in the suburbs of Port-au-Prince from December 7th to 8th, resulting in 184 deaths.
