Analyst: October retail sales report is stronger than it appears

On November 15th, Jinshi data reported that Adam Button, an analyst at the financial website Forexlive, commented on the US retail sales data, stating that US consumers have maintained a good rising trend this year, and due to the upward revision of previous data, this report appears stronger than it seems. These data continue to indicate that despite the persistent Intrerest Rate, consumer spending remains resilient before entering the holiday season. The control group data included in the GDP calculation indicates stable consumer demand in the fourth quarter. The rise in the food service industry indicates that consumers continue to spend in the service industry, which is particularly sensitive.
