On October 23, Jinshi Data reported that a US official revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his senior aides avoided US Secretary of State Blinken’s request to publicly clarify that Israel is not seeking to implement the ‘General Plan’ to besiege northern Gaza. The US official said that Netanyahu and Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer insisted during the meeting that Israel did not implement the so-called ‘General Plan’ aimed at isolating northern Gaza, and believed that publicly clarifying it would damage Israel’s public image.
