On September 18, according to BlockBeats, Google Cloud’s blockchain remote procedure call (RPC) service is currently only compatible with Ethereum, but will soon support more blockchain, enabling cryptocurrency developers to more easily interact with blockchain data and enhance the reliability of decentralized applications (DApps). In a blog post on September 17, Google Cloud said that this new service will initially be compatible with the Ethereum mainnet and testnet, and plans to expand to other blockchain next year. The blockchain RPC service is initially launched in a free tier, providing up to 100 call requests per second and up to 1 million requests per day, and supports EIP-1474 (a set of RPC methods defined for Ethereum nodes).
