Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has issued new guidelines to provide a focused overview of practical licensing options for professionals visiting Hong Kong and returning to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (ARACI) Intermediary Institutions Division Executive Director Dr. Yip Chi-hang stated that there is an upward trend in the number of financial industry professionals coming to Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission also provides a practical licensing system to meet the relevant needs. The first series of guidelines released earlier were well received, and in order to further enrich Hong Kong’s talent pool in the financial sector, these two new guidelines have been compiled to further help practitioners and potential applicants understand the expectations of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and the key points of the licensing regulations.
