Foreign media: CZ may serve a prison sentence in which encryption anarchist Jim Bell once stayed

In an April 23 filing with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington in Seattle, former Washington Prison Superintendent Robert Palmquist said CZ would “most likely” serve his sentence at FDC SeaTac if he is sentenced to prison. Palmquist, who served as the facility’s prison warden from 2003 to 2009, described the prison as “lacking natural light” and understaffed due to the limited number of inmates. Palmquist alleges that if CZ is incarcerated, his wealth and status as a public figure would put his physical and mental health at risk, including but not limited to theft and extortion. FDC Seatac Prison has a total of 794 inmates. It has previously detained a member of the Proud Boys, accused of connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, and a “encryption anarchist” named Jim Bell. Bell was released in 2012, and in the 90s he was charged with tax evasion for a “political assassination.”
