Bitmain-related mining pool AntPool has replaced Foundry USA as the leading BTC mining pool for the first time since January 2022.
For the first time since January 2022, a development based on the number of blocks mined per month has been recorded, based on the positive distribution of Bitmain’s latest mining rigs.

The latest data from the BTC network shows that in November, Antpool successfully mined 1,219 blocks, slightly more than the 1,216 blocks mined by Foundry USA. AntPool’s mining efforts have paid off handsomely for its customers, accumulating a total of 8,672 BTC, with an additional 83.6 BTC dedicated for repayment.
Since the beginning of 2022, Foundry USA’s position as a leading mining pool has been unchallenged, boosted by a surge in North American mining activity following China’s strict regulation of the industry in 2021.
However, AntPool has gradually approached Foundry USA’s dominance, especially since mid-2022. The growth in AntPool’s mining capacity coincides with Bitmain’s shipment of large quantities of Antminer S19XP and S19XP Hydro equipment to its U.S. subsidiary in Georgia.
More than 4,800 tonnes of these mining rigs were transferred between June and November, TheMinerMag reported. It is believed that the cumulative hashrate of these imports will exceed 37 EH/s, making a huge contribution to the increase in AntPool’s mining output.
