Former U.S. National Security Advisor: Trump Administration Launched Attack Without Understanding Iran's Nuclear Proposal

Gate News reports that on March 25, during an interview, former U.S. National Security Advisor Sullivan under the Biden administration stated that before the attack on Iran, the U.S. negotiating team did not understand Iran’s proposed solution to the nuclear issue. Sullivan said, “Just days before the U.S. started bombing Iran, Iran proposed a plan in Geneva that would greatly benefit the resolution of the nuclear problem. As I understand it, our negotiators here completely misunderstood Iran’s proposal; they ignored it and insisted on launching the strike.” In response to this statement, Iran’s embassy in Finland replied that the issue is not about understanding, but that “Washington is not and will not be the dominant player now or in the future.” The embassy stated that Israel is the true controller of U.S. foreign policy, and “Israel will never allow any diplomatic solution.”
