BlockSec: Two blockchain developers attacked, $17 million loss due to contract vulnerability

PANews January 26 News, according to BlockSec Phalcon monitoring, a series of suspicious transactions targeting compromised contracts deployed on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and BSC were detected a few hours ago. These transactions involved contracts deployed by two creators that were attacked, with total losses exceeding $17 million. The affected contracts are not open source and seem to have arbitrary call function vulnerabilities. Attackers abused existing token approvals to execute transferFrom operations to steal assets. Affected deployers:

0xbeef63AE5a2102506e8a352a5bB32aA8B30B3112 — approximately $3.67 million lost; 0x9cb8d9BaE84830b7F5F11ee5048c04a80b8514BA — approximately $13.41 million lost.
