According to BlockBeats news on July 9, Eigen Labs announced a layoff of about 25% (29 employees), shifting its business focus to EigenCloud. EigenCloud, which was launched last month, is a developer platform focused on off-chain and on-chain verification. a16z announced an investment of 70 million USD, bringing the company’s total fundraising to 220 million USD, including 50 million USD from the Series A funding in 2023.
