To address this issue, MapleStoryU has upgraded its skill verification system and expanded the monitoring scope to include Boss battles and Newbie stages to combat abuse. In addition, the official has introduced a 3-day delay mechanism for the issuance of lottery rewards, in order to complete behavioral reviews before awarding. As detection capabilities improve, this delay will be shortened accordingly. The platform is also building stronger core protection mechanisms, including data tampering defenses, account creation cost settings, and advanced behavior recognition tools, to more effectively predict and prevent cheating behavior.
