Jin10 reported on April 27 that on the evening of April 26 local time, the Iranian Interior Minister stated that 14 people had died in an explosion at the Shahid Rajaei Port in southern Iran. An explosion occurred at Shahid Rajaei Port in the southern city of Abbas on April 26 local time. This port is one of Iran’s major shipping bases and also one of its most important ports. According to data from the Iranian official news agency IRNA, this port accounts for over 55% of Iran’s total non-oil cargo imports and exports. In addition, this port also handles over 85% of Iran’s container loading and unloading tasks.
