This project aims to leverage blockchain technology to advance social impact initiatives that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The program is designed to provide UNDP personnel and their partners with the necessary knowledge, technology, support, and guidance to develop, pilot, and promote blockchain-based solutions to address real-world economic development challenges.

This collaboration is led by Glenn Tan, the executive partner of BGA, and members of the UN Development Programme’s AltFinLab. It will cover five regions globally, providing funding and strategic support for blockchain projects addressing the challenges of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
