UPCX is suspected to have been attacked by a Hacker, with approximately 70 million USD in assets being transferred.

On April 1, according to the on-chain security agency Cyvers Alerts (@CyversAlerts), the UPCX project (@Upcxofficial) encountered a security incident, and hackers accessed the address 0x4C… 3583E, which upgraded the “ProxyAdmin” contract and performed the “withdrawByAdmin” function, transferred approximately 18.4M UPC tokens worth approximately $70 million from three different managed accounts. At present, all the stolen funds are still stuck in the address 0xFf7… 334, no exchange operations have been detected. The official UPCX team has confirmed the incident and issued an announcement stating that “unauthorized activity has been detected.” Cyvers reminds users to pay attention to asset security and provides relevant security protection services.
