Start the journey of Opside value exploration: the countdown to the Pre-Alpha Incentive Testnet is officially launched
Author: Opside Team
We are pleased to announce that the Opside Pre-Alpha incentive test network will be officially launched within 2 weeks. This is a phased result achieved by Opside, and it also marks an important step for Opside towards the main network. Opisde sincerely welcomes and encourages all community members to participate in this testnet!
As a decentralized ZK-RaaS network, the Pre-Alpha test network will be an important milestone in the development process of Opside, especially this time the test network introduced the mixed consensus mechanism of PoS & PoW for the first time, that is, all nodes verify Both Validators and miners (Miners) can participate in the test, contribute their efforts and get points in return. These points will be redeemable for mainnet tokens after the Opside mainnet goes live.
In addition, Opside officially provides developers with a one-click ZKRollup Launchpad. Approved developers or projects can create their own ZK-Rollup through the Launchpad and freely deploy dAPPs on it!
Contribute to the Opside Pre-Alpha Testnet
Ordinary users can experience and operate various functions after the Opside Pre-Alpha test network is launched, such as cross-chain, transfer, dApp interaction, etc. Completing specific missions will also reward you with points! Please note that in order to ensure user experience, there will only be a small number of dApps available for users to test before the launch of the Opside Pre-Alpha test network. With the continuous deepening of the test, more dApps will be deployed and launched on the test network in succession. Of course, more hidden tasks will be opened for users to challenge, so stay tuned!
In order to prevent you from missing important news, we strongly recommend that you join the official Opside Discord community as soon as possible to get the latest news about the testnet: discord.gg/opside
Opside calls on all node verifiers to participate in maintaining the security and stability of the Opside network, and each node verifier plays a vital role. As a decentralized network, Opside trusts and relies on the power of verifiers to ensure the overall security and stability of the network, thereby ensuring that all transactions generated on the platform can be processed safely and efficiently.
It is worth mentioning that we started the Validator pre-application activity on May 2. As of this writing, we have received more than 6,000 node validator applications from more than 50 different countries. At present, the Validator pre-application activity is still in progress. Users who pass the application will be able to claim water and deploy setting nodes in the Opside official Discord Channel as soon as the Pre-Alpha Testnet goes online.

In addition to POS nodes, Opside also invites all miners to join the network ecology to provide computing power for transactions generated by each ZK-Rollup and generate ZKP proofs.
In the Pre- Alpha Testnet stage, Opside will first use CPU mining for testing, and will update and launch GPU mining in the next Alpha Testnet stage. It should be noted that PoW CPU mining will not be tested publicly until about 2 weeks after the launch of the Pre-Alpha Testnet. The specific information is subject to the official announcement.
In addition, we started the pre-application activity for PoW miners on May 9th, and the activity is still ongoing. We welcome all miners and mining pools to participate in the Opside pre-alpha test, and get corresponding points while contributing their computing power award.

Opside welcomes all developers to create their own ZK-Rollup and deploy dApps with one click on Opside Layer3. As an EVM-compatible network, Opside will adopt Polygon ZKEVM in the Pre-Alpha stage, and plans to gradually support Scroll, zkSync, Taiko and other ZKEVMs in the future. This means that all decentralized applications programmed in the Solidity language can be quickly deployed and migrated at zero cost on Opside.
In addition, for excellent dApp developers or teams, Opside officials will reward them with a certain amount of mainnet tokens after passing the official review.

Loyalty Points
This Pre-Alpha Testnet is the first time that Opside has officially disclosed a complete three-tier network architecture, and the test objects cover all roles in the ecosystem. All users who participate in the Pre- Alpha Testnet, no matter what role they play in the ecology, as long as they contribute to this testnet, they will be rewarded with Loyalty Points. Users can also check their real-time Rank and share with your friends to compete! Stay tuned for more details!
All users who have obtained Loyalty Points can be exchanged for mainnet tokens after the Opside mainnet goes live.
Open Opside Journey
As the "Opside Journey" is about to start, the Opside team also expresses our heartfelt thanks to the community! Thank you for your unwavering support along the way. Your enthusiastic participation and unremitting efforts are the source of power for Opside to continue to move forward and develop. Therefore, the launch of this round of Opside Pre-Alpha Testnet is not only an important milestone for the team, but also a testimony to the collective efforts of all community Builders!
There is no doubt that this will be an exciting journey. Here we also want to reiterate Opside's original intention of building a vibrant ZK ecosystem, that is, to allow every ecological participant (ordinary users, PoW miners, developers, PoS node verifiers) to benefit from it and make continuous progress , and finally jointly compose a prosperous, stable and secure ZKRollup network ecology.
The construction of every user in the community is crucial to the development of Opside. For this reason, we sincerely invite everyone to join this exciting journey, experience our common phased results, and at the same time contribute to the bright future of Opside.
Finally, thanks again to all members of the Opside community for their support, let us work together to write a bright future for the ZKRollup ecology!
