Walrus Protocol has been live for nearly a year. As a pioneer in the decentralized storage field, this period's performance directly impacts the project's long-term sustainability. From an ecosystem perspective, the development progress has been quite solid.

Currently, over 170 projects are built on Walrus infrastructure, covering various sectors such as Web3 identity verification, data analysis, AI applications, and media storage. Among them, Humanity Protocol's decentralized identity layer provides users with reliable authentication; the data intelligence platform Arkham leverages Walrus's storage capabilities to improve its data processing workflows; Akord has attracted over 120,000 users to migrate for document and media storage needs. The implementation of these applications demonstrates that Walrus's technical solutions can effectively address real-world problems.

Developers are also active. The "Breaking the Ice" hackathon has attracted over 200 participants, resulting in innovative projects like DriftBottle (a decentralized messaging tool) and SuiPet (on-chain digital pets). This indicates that the ecosystem remains attractive to developers. The project's sponsorship policies are also continuously strengthening, providing momentum for ecosystem expansion.

The number of 170 projects sounds impressive, but how many can actually survive? It still depends on genuine user growth.

More than 170 projects have already been listed. The number is definitely impressive, but I don't know how active they are.

More than 170 projects are running on it. The number looks good, but I don't know how many are truly active.

170 projects sound like a lot, but how many are truly active? Is this number impressive or not?
