英国大型银行巴克莱（Barclays）首次对稳定币相关公司进行股权投资，正式入股美国初创企业 Ubyx。这一举动被视为传统银行体系加速拥抱“受监管稳定币”和代币化现金的重要信号，也标志着巴克莱在新型数字货币领域迈出实质性一步。
据报道，Ubyx 计划于 2025 年正式推出，其核心定位是稳定币清算与赎回平台。该平台旨在解决当前稳定币市场的碎片化问题，让不同发行方的稳定币能够像同一种货币一样被结算和兑换，而不是被视为彼此割裂的独立资产。稳定币通常与法定货币 1:1 锚定，已成为加密市场流动性的关键基础设施。
巴克莱方面表示，此次投资符合其在监管框架内探索“代币化货币”和稳定币应用的整体战略。尽管银行未披露具体投资金额或 Ubyx 的估值，但可以确认的是，巴克莱希望在合规前提下参与未来可能成为主流的数字结算体系。
这一布局正值代币化从试点阶段逐步走向实际应用的关键时期，尤其是在跨境支付、机构结算和链上清算等场景中。对传统银行而言，稳定币既代表效率提升的机会，也伴随着合规与系统性风险的挑战。
事实上，巴克莱并非孤例。今年 10 月，该行已加入由 10 家银行组成的联盟，探索发行与 G7 货币挂钩、由储备金支持的数字货币。这表明，一旦稳定币成为标准化结算工具，主流银行不希望被排除在体系之外。
目前，稳定币仍主要用于加密交易场所，但其规模增长极快。以 Tether 为例，流通中的 USDT 总市值已接近 1870 亿美元，显示出私人发行美元在找到产品市场契合点后，扩张速度极具冲击力。
Ubyx 也并非只获得传统金融青睐。数据显示，美国头部 CEX 与 Galaxy Digital 的风险投资部门此前已参与其融资，使其同时具备银行资本与加密原生资本的支持。
在快速发展的同时，监管压力也在上升。英国央行已提出对系统性稳定币设定持有上限，以防止市场压力下银行存款大规模流向私人代币。央行正与金融行为监管局（FCA）共同制定更完善的稳定币监管规则。
整体来看，巴克莱投资 Ubyx 反映出当前稳定币周期的核心矛盾：银行希望通过稳定币和代币化现金提升结算效率，监管机构强调金融稳定与责任边界，而像 Ubyx 这样的基础设施项目，则试图在两者之间搭建可被广泛接受的桥梁。
