2月11日消息，代币化商品市场在不到六周时间内上涨了53%，市值突破61亿美元，成为现实世界资产代币化市场增长最快的垂直领域。这一涨势主要受到更多黄金上链推动。
根据加密分析平台Token Terminal的数据，今年初代币化商品市场市值略高于40亿美元，意味着短短一个多月间增加约20亿美元。市场主要由黄金产品构成，其中Tether的黄金支持代币Tether Gold (XAUt)在过去一个月增长51.6%，市值达到36亿美元；Paxos的PAX Gold (PAXG)同期上涨33.2%，市值达到23亿美元。
代币化商品市场同比增长360%，增速远超代币化股票市场（42%）和代币化基金市场（3.6%），规模已接近172亿美元代币化基金市场的三分之一，同时远超市值仅5.38亿美元的代币化股票市场。
周四，Tether收购贵金属平台Gold.com价值1.5亿美元的股份，进一步拓展代币化黄金战略，计划将XAUt代币整合到Gold.com平台，并探索允许客户使用USDT购买实物黄金的方案。
在代币化黄金价格上涨的同时，现货黄金价格过去一年上涨超过80%，1月29日创下5600美元历史新高，本月初小幅回落至4700美元，但截至发稿时已回升至5050美元。与此形成对比的是，比特币价格自去年10月以来低迷，曾从高点126,080美元下跌52.4%，上周五跌至约6万美元，但随后反弹至69,050美元。
业内评论员指出，尽管比特币具备硬通货特征，但近期走势更像高风险成长型资产，而非传统避险资产。Strike首席执行官Jack Mallers及Grayscale均认为，比特币作为“数字黄金”的定位正在受到市场考验。
整体来看，代币化黄金热潮凸显了市场对安全避险资产的偏好，也反映出投资者在传统贵金属与加密资产之间重新配置资产组合的趋势。
