Gate News 消息，3 月 12 日，美联储负责监管事务的副主席鲍曼周四表示，在对一项全面银行资本规则进行修订后，大型银行的资本要求将略有下降。这被视为华尔街银行的一项重大胜利，此前银行成功抵制了早期草案中的资本金上调方案。鲍曼概述了对巴塞尔协议（国际银行监管标准）和全球系统重要性银行附加资本要求（GSIB surcharge）的调整，这些规则决定银行需要预留多少资金以吸收潜在损失。她表示，通过对现有规则进行"合理校准"，整体上将使大型银行的资本要求"略有下降"。她指出，这些调整将取消重叠的监管标准，并使资本要求与银行的实际风险更加匹配，同时认为近年来不断提高银行损失缓冲资本的做法存在偏差。
