消费物价指数（CPI）是根据与居民生活相关的产品及劳务价格统计出来的物价变动指标，通常作为观察通货膨胀水平的重要指标。该数据统计消费者购买的商品和服务的价格变化，公布值大于预测值通常利好美元。
此前 2 月非农数据显示就业表现弱于预期，与市场普遍预期的韧性强形成明显反差。但市场降息预期未因此出现明显调整，利率市场数据显示，下次降息仍大概率出现在下半年。
