A commendable new memecoin move has come from Tron founder Justin Sun! "He promised!"

Tron (TRX) centered memecoin issuance platform SunPump initially achieved great success but was negatively impacted by the overall market collapse.

In response to the losses incurred from this collapse, Tron founder Justin Sun pledged to donate all the profits from the memecoin and cover the losses on Tron.

Justin Sun stated that the first rule when launching memecoins on the Tron network is not to make a profit.

In the post, X promised to personally take on any losses and shared plans to donate all the income.

At this point, I personally will not make a single penny of profit from memecoins.

Any loss will be fully covered by me and all proceeds will be donated.

How Many Memecoins Are Being Minted?

As Justin Sun makes a bold move regarding the losses from memecoins, on-chain analyst Onchain Lens shared that SunPump, centered around Tron, released over 100 memecoins on March 18.

Onchain Lens memecoin issuance platform SunPump stated that it released 122 tokens on March 18, surpassing a daily issuance count of 100 tokens for the first time in four months.

A total of 95,573 tokens have been launched on SunPump to date, and the total fee revenue has reached 5.74 million dollars.
