Grand Theft Auto 6 PC Version Could Release in 2026, Hints Corsair CEO
The official website of Rockstar Games states that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be out in 2025 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no mention of a PC release leaving gamers anxious about their move. While gaming consoles are given first preference by Take-Two Interactive, PC gamers are being left out. Take for example GTA 5, the game was released in 2013 for the PlayStation and Xbox but was launched two years later in 2015 for the PC.

The habit of releasing the PC version late could become a reality for Grand Theft Auto 6. Leading PC peripherals company Corsair’s VP recently hinted that the GTA 6 PC version could be released in 2026. That’s a year later after Rockstar Games launches GTA 6 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
“Yeah, GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console. My understanding now it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC,” he said. PC gamers might have to wait another year to get their hands on Grand Theft Auto 6.

Nonetheless, Take-Two Interactive insists that the release of GTA 6 will not be delayed. “We are forecasting Calendar Year 2025 to be an inflection point for Take-Two – from the groundbreaking release of Grand Theft Auto 6 to the unmatched pipeline that 2K is set to deliver,” said CEO Strauss Zelnick during the earnings call.
