Seven reasons for detention listed, South Korean media reveals details of the application for detention order for Yoon Suk-yeol.
On January 26, Jinshi Data reported that on the 25th, Korean media disclosed the details of the content of the application for the detention order for Yoon Seok-yul, a senior public official in Korea. According to Korean media reports, the application for the detention order for Yoon Seok-yul has a total of 10 pages, most of which are explanatory materials in the form of investigation reports. The application lists 7 reasons for detention, including the possibility of Yoon Seok-yul destroying evidence and the risk of repeat offenses, as well as the necessity of additional investigation. According to the Public Crime Investigation Department, Yoon Seok-yul conspired with former Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun and others to issue orders to the military, instructing 678 armed soldiers to enter the National Assembly; during the declaration of emergency martial law, Yoon Seok-yul instructed to cut off power and water supply to some media outlets; and initiated provocations against North Korea by means such as drone invasion of Pyongyang. In the application for the detention order, the Public Crime Investigation Department also expressed concerns about the possibility of social unrest. The department said that some of Yoon Seok-yul's words and actions would provoke his supporters, potentially leading to bloody conflicts between conservative and progressive supporters.
