IMF: Excessive relaxation of regulatory measures in the United States may weaken financial security and increase financial fragility.

Odaily Planet Daily News IMF said it raised its economic rise forecast for the United States in 2025 to 2.7%, up from 2.2% in October; it is expected that the economic rise rate in 2026 will be 2.1%, higher than the previous forecast of 2.0%. Policy changes under the new U.S. government are likely to drive short-term inflation rise, and excessive relaxation of regulatory measures in the United States may weaken financial security protections and increase financial vulnerabilities.
