Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission: Currently processing license applications for 15 virtual asset trading platforms
Golden Finance reported that Dr. Kelvin Yeung, Executive Director of the intermediary department of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, said that virtual assets have now become the top priority on the agenda of every financial regulatory agency. Three virtual asset trading platforms in Hong Kong have been licensed, and another 15 platforms are being processed. Investors can expect more licensed platforms to comply with the SFC's investor protection measures.
