US job vacancies in July fell to the lowest level since January 2021

The latest data from Jins data on September 4th showed that job vacancies in the United States in July fell to the lowest level since early 2021, with an increase in layoffs, consistent with signs of a slowdown in other labor demand. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics' Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey on Wednesday showed that job vacancies in the United States fell from a revised 7.91 million last month to 7.67 million, lower than all economists' expectations.
