A market in western Sudan was shelled, resulting in the death of 20 civilians.

Jinshi Data News on August 27th, the Sudanese Local Resistance Committee stated on August 26th local time that a market in the capital of North Darfur State, Fasher, was shelled, resulting in the death of 20 civilians and 32 injuries. The organization accused the Sudan Rapid Support Forces of launching the attack, claiming that the armed forces shelled the city of Fasher for over an hour that day, with 7 shells hitting a market and causing casualties. The Rapid Support Forces have not responded to this incident yet.
