On August 20th, Jinshi Data News: UN Secretary-General Guterres issued a statement through spokesperson Diyarik on the 19th, demanding that Houthi armed forces in Yemen immediately and unconditionally release United Nations personnel and others detained by them. The statement said that multiple personnel from the United Nations, government departments, non-governmental organizations, diplomatic missions, and civil society have been detained by the Houthi armed forces for more than two months. Guterres expressed deep concern about their situation and demanded that the Houthi armed forces release them immediately and unconditionally. Guterres also strongly condemned the recent forced entry of the Houthi armed forces into the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen. The statement added that the Houthi armed forces returned the office to the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen on the 19th.
