Axelar (AXL) will provide technical support for integrating wstETH Cross-Chain Interaction into BNB Chain

BlockBeats news, on August 13, Axelar announced that the new official Cross-Chain Interaction bridge has been approved, and Lido's wstETH will be integrated into the BNB Chain through Axelar + Wormhole providing technical support. Currently, Cross-Chain Interaction and UI are awaiting testing, marking Axelar's second time connecting Lido to the ETH L2 ecosystem beyond. Previously in 2023, Axelar became the connector to introduce wstETH to Cosmos—its first journey beyond the ETH L2. The collaboration between Lido DAO and Axelar establishes its first official cross-chain bridge outside the L2verse. Furthermore, this connection will enable dApps to integrate wstETH on the BNB Chain into a fully programmable unified UX in the open stack.

The Canto chain is temporarily suspended due to Consensus issues, but the funds are safe. The system is planned to be upgraded at 20:00 on August 12th, and it is expected to take about 15 hours. After the upgrade, validators will be able to continue generating Blocks on the upgraded and patched V8Canto, and users will be able to access all activities as usual.
