FTC has issued a warning to consumers about the surge in investment scams on social media, especially in cryptocurrency investment

Golden Finance reported that the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued a warning to consumers about the surge in social media investment scams, especially in cryptocurrency investments. These scams involve fraudulent information claiming guaranteed high returns with little to no risk. The Federal Trade Commission advises against paying attention to such information and reminds consumers that all investments carry inherent risks. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Friday issued a consumer alert. The alert, written by Federal Trade Commission consumer education expert Andrew Rayo, stated that sudden investment information on social media is almost always eyewash.
