The Federal Reserve's three-year loss period has ended, and it has now returned to profitability.

Odaily星球日报讯美联储似乎终于扭转了长达三年的空前亏损局面，近几周发布的数据显示，自 11 月初起，美联储已重新实现盈利，足以缓慢填补用于核算亏损的会计科目。此外 11 月 5 日以来美联储所谓的递延资产（deferred asset）规模已出现缩减，从 2438 亿美元降至 11 月 26 日的 2432 亿美元。降息在很大程度上终结了美联储的亏损，这意味着为维持联邦基金利率目标区间，其向银行支付的成本有所降低。美联储的联邦基金利率在 2023 年达到 5.25%至 5.5%的峰值后，目前维持在 3.75%至 4%。鉴于官员们对就业市场状况的担忧，美联储未来可能进一步降息。（金十）
