Previously, the Ethereum Foundation published a blog post on July 10, announcing plans to fully integrate zero-knowledge proof (zk) technology at the Ethereum L1 layer. This upgrade is expected to bring significant changes in terms of scalability and privacy, and may profoundly impact the future development path of Ethereum.
