PANewsは2月24日に、Cointelegraphによると、スイスのテクノロジー企業Hashgraph GroupがHederaを基盤としたEUデジタル製品パスポートツールであるサプライチェーン追跡プラットフォームTrackTraceを立ち上げ、EUの今後導入される製品のコンプライアンス要件に対応するための支援を行ったと報じました。このプラットフォームは、商品流通や排出に関するデータを記録することで、検証可能な製品情報の監査追跡を構築し、AIエージェントを統合してコンプライアンス報告の自動化を実現します。
この動きは、2024年7月に施行される「持続可能な製品エコデザイン規則」への対応です。この規則は、デジタル製品パスポートを含む製品固有のルールの枠組みを確立し、重要な製品情報の記録とサプライチェーン間での共有方法を標準化します。最初の重要な節目は、2027年2月に施行される「EU電池規則」における電気自動車および産業用電池のパスポート要件です。繊維、衣料品、鉄鋼などの他の優先品目も2027年7月からDPPの対象となります。
