ChainCatcher Nachrichten zufolge hat das Portal The Block berichtet, dass das Blockchain-Projekt Self Chain den Gründer Ravindra Kumar von seiner Position als CEO abberufen hat, nachdem Nutzer ihn beschuldigt hatten, an einem mehrere Monate andauernden Betrugsplan mit einem Betrag von über 50 Millionen US-Dollar beteiligt gewesen zu sein. Self Chain veröffentlicht eine Erklärung, in der nach den Vorwürfen gegen Kumar bezüglich seiner Beteiligung an betrügerischen Off-Exchange-Transaktionen ein “entschlossener Führungswechsel” angekündigt wird. Zuvor hatte Kumar alle Vorwürfe als “vollständig unbegründet” zurückgewiesen und erklärt, sein Anwalt werde darauf reagieren.
