He held back. In the afternoon, SUI bottomed at $0.651, then bounced back.

On the third day, SUI suddenly rallied, surging to $0.73. Xiaolin didn't chase it, but he realized for the first time he hadn't panic-sold at the lowest point, nor had he bought the top.

"Is this what they call 'keeping your hands in check'?" he asked in the group.
