Tools for Humanity, the company behind Worldcoin and the World Network, has sent a product request form to Visa card processors, and this document has been seen by CoinDesk. This move aims to turn World Wallet into a platform where everyone can use it like a “mini bank account.”
World Network is a blockchain-based ecosystem that supports the biometric identity verification system Worldcoin. The company plans to establish a structure where users can make payments with stablecoin and transact with thousands of merchants included in the Visa network during discussions with Visa. This wallet will also support applications that can handle fiat currencies, financial technology (fintech), and foreign exchange (FX).
Visa and the crypto world are coming together
Visa is exploring how to engage more efficiently with digital assets by collaborating with major crypto projects and wallet providers. World Network aims to make crypto transactions more accessible by negotiating with crypto card providers such as Rain to offer on-chain Visa cards.
