India's Central Bank will introduce exclusive domain names for banks starting in April to help users distinguish between legitimate bank websites and fraudulent websites.

ChainCatcher news, according to Tech Crunch, the Central Bank of India will introduce exclusive .bank.in domains for banks starting from April to curb digital payment fraud. At the same time, it plans to introduce separate fin.in domains for non-bank Financial Institutions. The Central Bank of India stated that it will issue detailed guidelines separately to banks on the new initiative, aiming to help users distinguish between legitimate bank websites and fraudulent websites.
