The Sandbox acquisition QED, established a branch in Romania

PANews January 31 news, according to official sources, The Sandbox has officially acquired its long-term development partner, QED, a Romanian studio, and established The Sandbox Romania. QED was established in 2019, headquartered in Timisoara, with a team of 17 people, becoming The Sandbox’s 13th global office. Other office locations include Hong Kong, Seoul, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Paris. Sebastien Borget, Chief Operating Officer of The Sandbox, said that the QED team has excellent technical capabilities and will promote the upgrade of future versions of the platform. Ioana Verebi, co-founder of QED, looks forward to working with The Sandbox to create an innovative virtual world and promote the development of decentralization and blockchain technology.
